About

Kim is a visual artist who lives in Papamoa Beach in the Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand. As a multidisciplinary artist, she enjoys working with a range of mediums, materials, and processes.

Being mindful of the waste artists can generate, she seeks to creatively reuse products and materials such as old books and wastepaper to create artworks. Through an iterative process, she is currently exploring the utilisation of handmade algae-based bioplastics, a material that can be made and re-made into different works through a simple closed-loop recycling process.
